time will tell if the Redskins are legit or not, but if I've come to appreciate anything in these last three weeks it's the hire of new head coach Jim Zorn. Zorn brings an energy to DC that's been sorely missing in recent years, both in the press room and on the sideline. Going for reverses, calling clever play action, looking for sleepers like Todd Yoder in the end zone, I tell ya man as a Skins fan it's an exciting and encouraging thing. Most importantly, Zorn is a Quarterbacks guy, and when I see Jason Campbell finally getting his swagger and going 22/30, 193 yards, with 2 TDs and no picks, that tells me that old Dannyboy just may have finally got it right. I'm on the bandwagon.
My dad put it best. He said we could be really good and still manage to go 8-8 and finish last in the division. But we both agreed that even in that worst case scenario we'd still prefer that situation over the Redskins football we had become accustomed to seeing under Joe Gibbs. I think we can beat Dallas, and if we do all praise to the Zorn star.
Hail.
