Opening Theme Songs Suck

Its Sunday night, you sit down ready to watch the season premier of entourage, then it hits you out of the blue like a great white shark around seal island. The theme song comes on and does not stop for about 60-90 seconds. Why do tv shows feel the need to waste my time like this. I do not want to listen to a crap song for a minute and a half of my life when I can see Ari go on a gay bashing rant on LLoyd. This is the late night HBO that I want to see. I did the math today, if there is a 2 minute theme song at the beginning of a show, and usually about 20-25 shows in a season, this means that im missing about 45-50 minutes of one of my favorite shows. The producers could do a whole nother episode in this time span. Do they want to give me a great product, or do they want to get me in front of the tv for 30 minutes and not care about how I want to chuck a miller lite through my screen. So if you are out there and are interested in show business, take it from my main man, Larry David, and do a 10 second jingle at the beginning of your show and lets get down to the dirty business for half a hour.
