I should be a coach for the Dallas Cowboys. I have 2 giant problems with how this team is being run in the early season. Felix Jones is a monster and needs to touch the ball anywhere from 14-18 times a game. We drafted him with the intention of using him like a Brian Westbrook, giving him the ball on draws and screens. Anything to put him in space and let him use his speed to beat linebackers and safeties. After 2 games he has 0 catches and only 12 carries. This is unexceptable. I am by no means saying take Barber out of the game, what I am saying is have them both in there at the same time. I hate when I watch the game and we have 3 tight ends in the game and no felix, call me crazy but I would rather have Felix in the game than Tony Curtis, our 3rd tight end. My 2nd problem is that we do not blitz up the middle at all. When you bring pressure off the edge all the QB has to do is step up in the pocket and he has given himself some more time to get rid of the ball. If you bring it up the middle you force the QB to move outside the pocket or eat the ball and take a sack. Its common sense that someone will be less acurate and be more flustered if he has someone in his face. The cowboys rely too heavily on the pass rushing skills of DeMarcus Ware. If we can do these 2 things more often, watch out NFC East, we will see you in Tampa.
