As part of a new three-fight contract with Zuffa LLC, parent company to the UFC, Couture (16-8) will face Brock Lesnar (Pictures) (2-1) at UFC 91 on Nov. 15 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas. The bout will be waged over five rounds for Couture’s heavyweight championship title.
according to Dana White, it also loosely appears that the long-awaited mega clash between Couture and Fedor will go down, likely in the UFC, in 2009. As far as this fight is concerned however, I gotta say it's a crapshoot. Whereas Couture would be the safe bet on paper, it's been a year since the 45 year old Captain America squared off last in the Octagon. Meanwhile, Brock Lesnar is only getting more powerful and hasn't even hit 30 yet. One thing is for sure, everyone involved in this event is going to get PAID.
