Childress Reads SNG, Flushes Jackson

Finally, the virus is treated, the Vikings only hope now is that 63 year old Gus Frerotte and his arthritis can spark some action on offense.

The Vikings announced Wednesday that Ole Gus will be the new starting quarterback, even though he has played 15 seasons for all 32 teams I think he will be a huge step up from Tarashcan Jackson.

Critics might say that its too soon to pull out the young qb, but in all honesty he has the power to destroy what should be a good season for the stacked Vikings. I predict that strong arm Frerotte will open up the deep ball and in general any passing game, thus allowing the running game to chalk up some td's . Who knows maybe this switch will inspire Jackson to learn how to play quarterback... I strongly doubt it though.
