caught some sweet games yesterday. I watched VT/ECU entirely through and boy was that a brawl. Following that, I set out to find the Terps game on my go-to secret streaming games site when all of a sudden I heard the ESPN announcers on the tv start talking about beautiful College Park,MD. I found it hard to believe that out of all the games that were happening yesterday, the NY market got the privilege of watching the Terrapins square off against the Blue Hens, but I obviously dug it and sat and watched that entire game as well. Nothing to see here, pretty much a solid college football game played by college football players; running the ball for 5 yard carries nearly every time, plenty of picks, and alot of not-even-close attempts at going for the long ball. In the end the better team won. Terps have a little speed that might be the anchor to their squad in an ever-improving ACC. Still keep an eye on the "ever-improving" part. In my opinion, while I'll far from any sort of expert, no ACC team can really be accepted as the number 9 team in the country. Granted it was week one, but to really think that the Tigers of Clemson deserved to be Ninth while Saban's Bama boys deserved to be 24 seems a bit wrong. Clemson was extremely exaggerated while Alabama probably should have been up another five spots or so, especially considering the Hokies botch to a team with far less prowess than the Crimson Tide.
Not much else worth mentioning at length. Michigan blew it to Utah, whatever.
Lastly, Greenbelt's own Derrick Williams, former Eleanor Roosevelt Raider, returned an 89 year punt return yesterday against Coastal Carolina. We all know these games are a joke, but anytime I see a Maryland boy ballin out on Sportscenter I gets pumped.
Mom said she bumped into Murphy and Toll at the Terps tailgate yesterday and they told her that they both check the site. Thanks guys keep coming, and good luck with your nursing endeavors Chris.
peace
