Phil Jackson sure had plenty to say during a speech to the University of North Dakota as part of the convocation in which he received an honorary degree. Of the course of an hour, P-Jax criticized his school's nickname, told funny stories about Shaq swimming, and picked Dennis Rodman as the greatest athlete he ever coached. From the OC Register: " could probably play a 48-minute game and play the 48th minute stronger than the first minute of the game," Jackson told the crowd at UND. "He was that terrific an athlete."
pretty cool. Considering this guy has coached Michael,Pip,Kobe,Karl Malone,Gary Payton that is quite the compliment to me. I remember having a black 91 jersey I got for my birthday after the Bulls beat the Sonics, and I pulled for them hard from there on against the Jazz. Rodman was always into something, but what was cool was that he could ball out too. It wasn't like he needed to attention, he created it away from the floor and then backed up his reputation on the hardwood. Could his sportsmanship have been improved at times? Sure, but look at these digits:

peep the rebound columns dawg.
